Is anyone knowledgeable about the other two major award shows, the Seoul Music Awards and Golden Disk Awards? Those are supposedly part of the Big 5 for Korean award shows along with KMA, MMA, and MAMA. Maybe Idle will have a chance to win a daesang then. I dont think KMA's even have a televised show, it's just not the same to get a daesang from them, there is something to be said about gathering in a huge group of your fellow peers and fans and standing in front of that stage to accept the daesang.

Lesserafim needs to get more official performance awards at least, even Best Female Group awards. They're that good and their digitals are doing better and better with AF's performance. New Jeans deserves ROTY awards. Ive will get their share so i'm not worried but Idle needs to get a daesang or two for the impact they have made.

Yep, they're sandwiched between IVE having the most successful first year since forever, Blackpink releasing an album (a rare occurence), the usual suspects BTS who will win anything they're eligible for until retirement, and even NewJeans.

Only GDA is possible and GDA will be given usually to the one with the most digital index. Does Gidle have that? I think they do. If they do then they’ll win it.

SMA there is only one daesang and it’s unlikely Gidle will win it. (Will probably be BTS)

Who knows what is coming for them next. They are so passionate about their music so I hope that they will be more and more successful.
