(Poll) Do you mostly listen to recently released music, older songs, or both?

I went with "just dropped" because, with my faves, I listen to their entire discography. But I'm a casual listener of a lot more groups, and for not my faves, I usually listen to their just dropped stuff, so my listen history skews more current on the whole.

Interesting question, though. I wouldn't have thought about this otherwise.

I usually check out new releases or let spotify shuffle in some new digs.

Other times... I'll listen to Pentagon - Sha La La for two hours straight because my adhd ffffass thinks it's crack.

More recent than old but I still listen to both evenly, if anything I have to find more old music

A lot of my playlist is older since I stan more 2nd/3rd gen than 4th gen but I still have a fair amount of newer faves

A bit of both really but I'll always revert back to the old as the older music is better in my opinion.

It's an even mix. Sometimes I love to go visit old songs because it brings back a huge wave of nostalgia and I have a lot that I listen to regularly (GFRIEND Me Gustas Tu, OMG Closer, TWICE Only You, BLACKPINK As If It's Your Last, etc.)

I only really listen to recent drops if I like the song. And then there's a trend I used to do with new Twice albums where I would listen to the whole albums once every day (I did that for Taste of Love - IM NAYEON). After IM NAYEON, I would stop doing that though because it became tedious and a little annoying. I would even have it on my to-do list and try to make it a habit

Mostly older songs. 4th Gen is letting me down.

Both. When I really love a song, I'll wear it out so sometimes songs need breaks before I can go back to them again. Some songs are strong enough to outlast the over listening but it tends to guarantee that I rotate my music. Plus there's all the music - old and new - that I discover or am introduced to.
