As much as i don't like twt, we need the toxic people to stay at one place. I don't want them to all come over to youtube shorts. Also, we are going to lose a lot of memorable things. What is Elon Musk doing????

I think people don't understand. the website will most likely be always be there but you won't be able to see tweets loading fast and it might crashes multiple times a day.

Basically Twitter will go back to stone ages.

Wouldn't be any loss if it did in my opinion as it's been a lousy site anyway.

Tbh I'm not mad about it, I used to have a stan account there a long time ago. I know 'toxicity' is technically everywhere but it just seems to be so much more there if that makes sense. I personally got rid of a handful of social media in july, so my accounts already gone. So I ain't mad lol

depends. Right now, I can see twts cause I am on my normal non-school computer. But during week days(wt the exception of friday after school) I use my school chromebook, which blocks twt tweets so they just appear as links for me but when I press it the blocked page comes on.

When I wrote that comment I was on my school computer. OP made a thread I saw before this one where they were saying to save bts twts and I was confused, then I saw this thread and realized twt might close down forever and that's why op made a thread saying to save bts twts.

Anyway, i'll be able to see twt links this following week cus it's Thanksgiving break for me, so I won't be using my school chromebook to do my assignments.

I had no issues using Twitter till now. I don't think the side will be dead, but I can only think that the stock market is going down and that a few more people may leave the website... this is what often happens when a website goes into new hands. I mean this for example happend a few times when Tumblr was bought off by some other company a few times. I think it first ever happene to Tumblr back as Yahoo had purchased them, than later on another person bought Tumblr and the cycle repeated. I bet Twitter will just loose a few thousand user and some months later everyone will have forgoten what happend
