Do K-pop fans hate facial hair?

Koreans in general (and Japanese as a side note) don't like facial hair on men and view it as unkempt and dirty and failing to look after yourself.

I can definitely see some international fans taking on the same point of view.

I've been a beardy boy for years, but while I has in SK on holiday felt the need to shave everyday

Well... I don't mind if a guy has a bit of facial hair. (like a chinbeard)

But I can't imagine myself dating a guy with a Santa Claus beard.

And I think I feel more attracted to men without facial hair.

There is somewhat of a stigma against facial hair in East Asia. Plus, genetically, most East Asian men don't have the best beard genetics -- they usually end up pretty patchy.

I dont really hate but I have heard there is so much bacteria or sth in beard so i dont like beard that much

but also I dont like man looking like peeled onion like all male kpop idols

I don't like facial hair on most men, period.

I get why some guys like it, because it can help define a face shape, but there are very few people who I've genuinely thought looked better with it.

Also because of our genetics a good amount of Asians do not grow facial hair. It's not as common as us not having body hair

Well I personally do not like facial hair. I prefer clean cut shaven.

This is not really a kpop stan thing for me, I've had this opinion for a very long time.

98-99% of men look better without facial hair. I've found very few exceptions to this rule(the most recent one being Yash, the guy that plays Rocky in KGF).

But yeah, I've always seen people go crazy about facial hair and I'm just like no.

Generally, I don't prefer men with beards and mustaches. I think simple and small amount suits some, but that's it.
