I think she still suffers from the haters of the T-ara scandal aftermath. I mean she was considered the no.1 villian of that story. + she has had many small scandals that just give haters so much to talk about.

She is really talented and pretty and was a pretty perfect idol imo.

People iirc also sltshamed her so hard because of the alleged webcam situation when she was a kid

that is true, but you expect too much of people. Its crazy how much people just jump on the hate wagon from the first something happening

same reason, people hate on jennie. there are no real reasons. just some people are assholes.

because she was one of popular female idol so many netizen talked and pressed about her in the past. Just like current popular female idol who have many fans and haters.

But well she was my first love in kpop

There is often no reason to hate an idol, as there are no reasons to love an idol.

In kpop, people just indulge in that impulsive impressions.

So both excessive love and excessive hate exist.

Hating T-ara was the industry sport for few years and Jiyeon being the most popular in T-ara, got the worst of it. People love seeing the once-adulated fall hard from their pedestals.

Nevertheless, she should be fine now. Her friends stood by her, the reduced group still releases occasional music and has a decent acting career, now in a relationship, about to get married.

Good for her. Fan adulation or hate, fame is fleeting - not as important as work, friends and family.

Hi all I'm new here so please be nice if i have an unpopular opinion on this one.

I don't hate her but i do think she is over rated in terms of beauty and looks... i always found hyomin sexier than her and both soyeon and eunjung prettier than her... even boram at times i thought looked prettier (like in the suga free video for example)

Also when you see her on shows or when she is being interviewed she acts strange its hard to explain...

But like i say i dont hate her... she IS gorgeous... all the t-ara girls are.... i just think other members are more attractive in different ways... i never understood why she was the most popular member i understand the koreans have something for her eyes... but im not korean :P

she is center of T-ara
being from mid tier company
they almost surpass or rival the top GG of the 2nd gen
