WHY do so many companies think that the fandom name had to be a literal wordplay of the group name? What happened to 200069 high iq fandom names like Blackjacks, VIPS, Carats, Insomniacs?
Literally just anything besides "Fearnots".

To be fair... most of your examples are wordplay based on the group name. 
The problem isn't the wordplay... it's that most fandom names are either super lazy or trying to hard. Like 2NE1/Blackjack is genius because the two words are connected on another level. Likewise with Dreamcatcher/Insomniac, Winner/Inner Circle, NCT/NCTzens, Sevneteen/Carat, Twice/Once... even something like Stray Kids or IVE creating a slogan with their fandom names or CIX creating a very similar name for their fandom or Nu'est basing their name off their hangul.
We need more creativity! 
I agree Fearnot sucks and just seems like they're forcefully making it different from Brave Girls' Fearless.

or "Las Plumes" (Feathers) (That make up the wings)
I also think something like worshippers, "Evangelists", or "Enlightened" would be cool if that wasn't impossible because it's too religiously charged

no no friend I meant literal wordplay like black pink = "blink", ive = "dives", red velvet = reveluvs" where it is literally rearranging the letters or extending the word to make a fandom name.
