You guys are acting very oblivious. This video clearly copied stylings from NewJeans, lmao. We know that Y2K is not new, but Y2K is not a universal style. ITZY also had Y2K styling for their most recent release and it looked nothing like this.

Let's not act like NewJeans was not basically ripped off style wise here. Y2K has had an overall resurgence, but NewJeans's stylist did add a certain flavor to it that is being replicated here. It'd be one thing if 1 or 2 people saw it, but for that to be the 1st thing I and other people notice watching this, let's not be blind here.

It's MV style and the clothing, the hairstyles, the whole vibe. They even copied Cookie's whole aesthetic and styling for a portion of the MV, and that's not even Y2k.

I didn't say it was new. I said that NewJeans has a certain style. You can have a certain style to you and it not be new.

Having a certain flavor/aesthetic does not mean new. It means there is certain style and image you built for your brand that is associated with you, and when people see it, you come to mind .
