How much of the debate about Garam were attempts to undermine Le Sserafim?

of course there will be certain people that use Garam as a weapon to continue to attack LSFM just like most things either in kpop or outside

best thing to do will be to ignore them and focus instead on listening to your favs and supporting them

I was anti kicking her out because SHE doesnt deserve that, but i doubt Chaewon, Sakura, Kazuha, Yunjin or Eunbin had anything to do with that decision so who am i too judge them

All I know is that LSFM was being targetted hard before the whole Garam thing even completely blew up. Like every other day there was a new Pann article trying to create an issue about every stupid little thing to attack them. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the reason why people automatically went on the offensive against Garam was because of these same horrible people.

(Also there is definitely a bitter-ass fanbase that has been against LSFM long before debut so I specially blame them for a good chunk of escalating the Garam mess)

Not nearly as much as I'm sure some folks posit that it is.

A large section of Garam discourse was entirely situated on Garam herself. Look at the number of Garam threads that have popped up during this comeback for LSF. I counted a total of two.

I don't remember there being think pieces about how LSF can't recover or how the other members had the same issues as Garam (Other than the whole Sakura stuff, but that stuff predates LSF and was a thing all the way back when Produce 48 was airing)

When a new group from one of the Big 4 debuts, there's always a ton of crazy ass stuff. It was the same for aespa.

The only people I see still talking about Garam are her fans. All the chatter I see is on their song and their success and specific members. Boy, this reminds me a lot of one of my own fandoms..
