But this is false hope tho.
And honestly I don't even blame fans of one or another group or multistans...
I would rather blame MNet.
Well with so many categories where people are nominated due to their high sales or good charting, or sometimes just because they are on the market for X years or so... why can't MNet just create that one category in which they would put I don't know Dreamcatcher, KARD, Everglow, ONEUS, DKZ, Pentagon (for example) and let people to pick one group from those six and at least fuxin give one time this award and make it meaningful for a group rather than doing it like it is now...
because if you look at current pre-vote it's already done, it seems like 30 of those groups won't even make a 'cut' to normal voting phase.
And I really get it that they are year by year giving 10 of those awards, but do they really think that 1 more award would mean something for those super-duper-stacked-packed-always-winning-most-popular-as-usual-groups?
I don't think so...
