When you have the option, do you prefer microwaving or heating meals in the oven?

I prefer oven cooked meals except vegetables that I steam in the microwave.

Microwave because it's quicker.

Just pop that bad boy in, press a few buttons, and BOOM you got heated/reheated food

i agree that it really depends on the food and what you want. Microwave sometimes dry and changes the texture of the food. Lately, I've been using the oven to make garlic bread and baking salmon. I like using both depending on the situation/food.

I don't even own a microwave

The crispiness of certain food by baking it in an oven is reallly why I love the oven. You can’t get this texture in the microwave.

Microwave is for heating up, oven for actually cooking. Using oven to heat up a dinner is so waistful (not to mention how much time it would take)

I'm using everything but a microwave lately. I was looking for a Microwave Convection Oven at one point though.

Microwaving

I prefer to heat and cook food by myself rather than in the microwave. Firstly, there are badly radiations in the microwave, which, although very weakly, but affect us. Secondly, I read that cooking outdoors improves health. I decided to check it out. I read how to protect myself from rain and than tested this theory for a month. I can say one thing, my mood has definitely improved and I am glad, though not big, but such changes in my life!
