The 184m is the unfiltered streams while 153m is the filtered. -

It is stupid to make filtered streams list for albums since not all songs from every single album in existence can chart on Spotify weekly charts.
Also there is a reason why Spotify itself uses unfiltered streams for their Albums chart.....

The 184m is the unfiltered streams while 153m is the filtered.Chartmasters is not correct about that record of "biggest kpop album debut". Because the existence of that list itself is wrong. There is a reason why Spotify filters only top 200 songs every day. Because it would be too much hassle to filter every single song in existence. So no one knows what are the filtered streams of songs that were not in top 200 of Spotify weekly chart hence no one knows real filtered streams of any of the albums.....

Like I said: 3d gen ♥️. Both albums are great and both Bts and BP deserves.

Chartmasters have never used "anthologies" or whatever for the list of bigger debuts since it's essentially a greatest hits, majority of the songs aren't actually debuting on the charts.
They also didn't add the weeknd "highlights" to list of most streamed album cause it would be double count, just like "proof"

Also to add to your explanation,
Chart streams are dependent on if they chart in the top 200. Like proof actually could have had more chart streams if they showed let’s say the top 400-500
Or if they had less competition (thus making it easier for the rest of the songs to be top 200)
So you see why especially for albums it’s a bit
It’s like how proof got a lower US Spotify chart debut than BE but when you look at the streams for the bb200. Proof had more than BE did on the bb200 cause while the rest of the songs on proof didn’t chart US top 200, those streams are still there
