Do not compare TTT to the abominations NMIXX releases, or even Sneakers. You can hate it all you want, but you're wrong.

TTT is a good song just doesn't have a strong hook to capture a larger audience unless you are already their fan and a few others. I also liked sneakers, I think it fits Itzy's aesthetic. To be honest I do think JYP, excluding New Jeans with Hybe and IVE, are making the best Girl group music right now. They just need stronger hooks. My problem with JYPE is their dumb promotion strategies and their inability to turn their groups releases into bigger events. Spend money on the releases. Fewer releases but higher quality in terms of prereleases, teasers, and what not. Better designed albums. I also think they could get more creative with the types of songs in the album. I like that JYPE included unit song in Twice's last full album. I want to see them use that more. I also wish they would follow the YG model with at least their older groups. I also think JYPE waited too long to turn the girls into brands of their own. I think the reason is plentiful and not just having to do with a Suzy situation. But yeah song quality isnt really my problem, its the lack of a hook in those songs, and unimaginative promotion style and album design.

TTT is essentially a victory lap, just like Celebrate in Japan. It's fanservice in tribute to their re-signing and the fans really like it (as a casual Once I also like it). I can see them breaking out again with some more daring mature music in the future.
