    Same as a citizen of Busan I moved to Seoul after highschool. Yes this is better that hybe pay for it, on principle I understand why people are upset about it considering certain politicians kept pushing it including having it held in certain areas to get that property value $$$$ for certain people. We would want this spineless crooks to o pay for the concert out of their own pocket. But in reality they would have used our tax money which would have started a fucking riot so they were smart to not do it. They might still do it and see how bad people flip out. Our tax dollars have more important things to goto than kpop concerts. I love BTS but BTS isn't going to save my house that's underwater soooo

    7B korean won??? I better see a super massive screen even from the back row when I see them in Busan then. I get it that stage settings can be expensive, and HYBE isn't exactly cheap when it comes to concert production but it's still a lot of money.

    But Busan was the one who approached Hybe to use BTS for their World Expo 2030 bid. If they at least spend some money on the concert, it makes sense but for Hybe to bear the losses and BTS to practise hard and for what? Busan should be responsible and cancel the event if they can’t handle it. I think all this shows that Busan is not capable and their bidding World Expo 2030 will fail.

    Busan should be responsible and cancel the concert and say they are not capable to hold a world class event. They are the one who wanted BTS as a means to promote their bid for world expo 2030

    Seriously, hybe is doing so much for this event meanwhile other tourism businesses in Busan are acting out of hand. Just looks more and more like the city can't handle the bid

    These Buson officials are making the city look like trash. HYBE should never have agreed to this. There is no way Buson will win this bid and they are making SK look bad internationally at this point. HYBE should just charge for tickets and downsize to 50,000 attendees. Whatever they wanted to achieve, they should abandon it and just consider it a win if they can pull it off without any backlash.

    So, let me get this straight:

    1. First, they ask BTS to help them win their bid for the World Expo, even going so far as to talk to their parents to strengthen the request.
    2. When BTS accept and say ok, we'll hold a concert for free, the hotel owners in Busan raise prices astronomically en masse and the government tries to hold said free concert on some industrial beach property for monetary gain.
    3. Then when they are thwarted because of the outcry against hotel owners taking advantage of this and also someone with a brain at Hybe realizes that industrial beach property is a horrible idea for safety and security, they decide FINE, if we can't make free money off of this, let Hybe pay for the whole thing.
