I only knew about spice girls as a kid so probably them for me. I actually never heard about the others before I started being a fan of bp

I can't say for all of them but SES were inspired by TLC and the rest were big generally, I know destiny's child and spice girls have toured in Asia and I'm assuming little mix did too?

but still they don't have much of an impact. I could say their impact in Asia is similar to the impact 2nd gen kpop had in the west.
But to inspire someone, means a lasting impact? Also Waterfall and No scrubs were big even in Asia (especially China?)

I disagree with BP, hate them or love them they're known worldwide and they have also gotten a lot of people into kpop which is a impact. Compare them to the other girls, they havent been there as long but I think that alone is a greater impact in itself. I was questioning if I should add SNSD as well, but too unsure the impact they had internationally

Between Little Mix and Blackpink though, its pretty clear Blackpink is bigger already, even in the west Blackpink doesnt lose to Little Mix even in numbers except for certain european countries

Yeah it really depends on your generation as well, but the fact you've heard of the other groups even though they were active yearsss ago, is a good indication of the impact they had

TLC's influence crossed music genres and arguably paved the way for Destiny's Child (which was a huge group, I'm not sleeping on their influence either). CrazySexyCool holds up surprisingly well over the years, when most of the Spice Girls albums seem increasingly dated. But as far as "musical influence" goes, TLC were a whole new wave. They were doing things NO ONE else was, and they did it well.
