Can people stop writing girl groups off after one cb that doesnt do as well? The results may have not been that good digitally but they still did well in physical sales and they keep growing

not sure were this rumor suddenly came from, but sm always switch between gg and bg,

so no way they will debut another gg after aepsa.

in contrast there are rumors about a new bg (outside of the nct universe) and another nct unit.

how are they supposed to debut another boy group if their idea of that is just adding more members to NCT. Like they are pileing member over member. There won´t be another male group for a while. But they can´t do that with aespa, their concept is not like NCT. And Sm promise that they would debut their trainees, so they must have a group of girls waiting for their chance.

So what would they do with those female trainees if they are waiting and ready, make NCT GURL? NCT is like 23 members or more and aespa 4, they are unbalanced

aespa are good on their own i think? why would a new SM gg threaten them?

SM wouldn't have two groups of the same gender back to back if/when SM debuts a new group its gonna be a boy group

Over the past two years, SM has openly said they were holding auditions for both new NCT members (likely with an eye towards NCT Hollywood and filling whatever holes are in NCT Tokyo) AND a new bg that's not NCT, so there will be both.

While I'm sure they will debut another gg with the growth of sales with girl groups, to think they will do that by the end of the year is just not possible IMO when they've been sitting on highly anticipated groups from known moneymakers for nearly 2 years now.

SM doesn't move that fast and the back end of the year is pretty packed already.

they debuted 25 guys between RV and aespa lol, another gg is needed rather than another bg, they will likely add more members into NCT and god knowns when the new bg debuts

I dont do philosophy about what is needed and what not, I only stated how sm never debuts 2 bb/gg after another. when sm does what they always do, there wont be another gg until 2024 (the earliest). they roughly debut a group every 2 years and always switch between gg and bg. so when looking at the past, I would say a new bg will either debut in late 2022 or 2023 the latest.

That's what people said about Red Velvet yet aespa didn't even touch their fandom or part of the market. Also, aespa debuted not so long ago and have good hype around them. Try harder.

But girl groups are more trending in recent years. SM must have woken up to this probably. There aren't many girl groups in SM, it's like a boy company. SNSD isn't always active anyway. 3 girl groups would be perfect. I don't know what year it will be, but I think the girl band group won't cost much. This girl group won't be an idol group, they won't buy choreography. Maybe they're making their own music, then it won't be hard for the group to debut for SM next year.
