"Pink Venom" is really a horrible mess.

Only some Kpoppies dislike it.

Just like they disliked Boombayah, DDD, HYLT...and when the song reaches icon status they'll rewrite history and suddenly say, "I was one of the ones that always liked it."

It's the same formula Kpoppies use every release with BP.

So this thread is pretty on brand for Kpoppies.

When Taylor herself likes it, it doesn't matter what an anonymous user hiding behind a username says.

Now, if she starts liking Ready for Love, I might struggle with how I understand the world, though.

That's what KPoppies don't get, you don't come back after two years without a plan in mind. It may not be well-favored by a few KPop stans (including some Blinks), but it doesn't mean it's automatically a bad song. Non-KPop casuals liked it, and that's the main reason it was blowing up.

Regardless, people who disliked Pink Venom/HYLT or any other hype Blackpink songs are most often huge kpop fans which loud but are of the minority.

I think what they meant by "Indian aesthetic" was "Korean traditional instruments appearance in music video and sound". Tho, there was this one shot at the beginning that does seem pretty "Indian-inspired":
