People should not be harassing her like this but at the same time, she's been receiving feedback which was not malicious, callouts for her alleged subpar skills at times (and inconsistencies) and ideas for improvement for months and she's closed herself off in an echo chamber, ignored the comments, deleted them and blocked people who literally begged her to do better so idk what to say about the situation. This was not the solution but she should perhaps listen to the criticism as well.

I think shes doing a good job?? Dives are sick for harassing this woman who is just doing her job like this. Im disgusted

Harrasing make-up artists because you don't like their style of putting make-up, time to leave your computers and phones and get some priorities in life.

I mean she is the professional, if fans think they know better they should apply for the work themselves instead of harassing her... Its called makeup artist for a reason, you dont want people telling you what to do with your art esp when they dont have the experience nor the talent or skills for that. its just very ignorant and I understand why she is ignoring these comments back.

I'm sorry but makeup artists and professionals in general should absolutely be called out if they're not doing a good job. That's her job right there! We all have eyes. Do you remember SM stylists dressing NCT in clown outfits? What were we supposed to do about it, stay quiet? People don't know how to act and that's another issue, but criticism and feedback don't have to be bad things.

I'm just explaining the situation from a POV of somebody who has been following it since the beginning.

What is everyone's solution to this? When IVE has bad makeup on, everyone should just stfu so miss MUA wouldn't be upset for doing a bad job? A little snowflakey even considering Kpop stans overreact to so many things.

But isn't that kind of ignoring the fact that these companies are paying her to give their idols specific looks. If the company is telling her to make them look a certain way and hired her to make them look a certain way, fans messages aren't dealing with the actual problem just diverting it. If they want a change why not contact the company who is the actual decision maker because the company isn't going to care that a employee is getting sent hate, it literally makes no difference to them, all it does is makes fans feel like they are making an impact. I'm sure if the idol didn't like the look they can also say something and often do.

I've seen people talk about this with the clumpy lashes and too light foundations but isn't it more likely the idol or the company/management are telling them to make the idol look paler with a lighter foundation or jumping on an unsuitable trends and the MUA is scared to loose their job so do as they are told. I read thats pretty much what happens in the majority of the industry including music production and mixing.

It seems like they have a natural, dewy, rosy look, which suits them as a younger group vs a heavier night-time makeup look that an older group might have.

Now I've seen the posts people post here about another gg (maybe Twice?) and how they keep getting attacked with clown makeup and crazy rosy cheeks and I definitely see the problem there but I don't see the issue here?

I’m feeling your point on the uneven eyebrows on the TikTok one but for the other one, I guess I’m just too old to get it? She looks pretty to me with natural, low key makeup in the Dream concert pix. These pix are from the same concert.What do people think it should be like? Do they want it to be more dramatic (darker lip, stronger eye)?
