yes and no. I like the fact that i'm "competent" and dont need supervision, i get to work, they tell me what needs to be done and i get it done. The only thing that annoys me is that i'm the type who has to stay focused due to my adhd, and when i get set doing something and get interrupted it throws me off and customers constantly asking me questions or where something is when it's LITERALLY A FOOT FROM THEM annoys the shit out of me. But i work by myself, don't deal with any co-workers in my dept and life is good.
what i don't like is when i spend hours, stocking, fixing, cleaning, organizing my departments area in the back room to take a couple days off and come back to an absolute shitfest of a mess. highly frustrating.

Yes, I like working.
It gives me things to do. It gives me purpose. It helps me build a future with the people around me.
It's satisfying, even if a bit stressful sometimes.

No. Have a boring desk job/WFH and I mostly have to talk to customers and do admin work. It's really repetitive and sometimes if there's a problem with another department I might have no actual work to do, instead I have to pretend to do something for a few hours.
I used to have a job as a sort of area traffic regulator. Basically have to evaluate road traffic risks and coordinate emergency services and road repairs. Sometimes I got to go out and visit those places too. It sounds kinda lame but honestly it was actually an enjoyable job most of the time, I was doing something different almost every day and travelled a fair bit which was a nice change of scenery.
I would've liked to stay but the pay was only average and the main issue was I couldn't choose fixed hours, I had to deal with what I was given and sometimes I didn't finish until midnight even I was supposed to be the "day" team.
I've done retail work early on and I would never do it again. Dealing with customers is hell lol.
