In your opinion, which kpop artist/group has the most well-produced/mixed music?

EXO and NCT (all units) have killer mixing on their tracks.

SM really does have best production on their tracks.

Next comes BTS. Production on their tracks are MESMERIZING. Mixing took a hit in past few years.

And next comes, Seventeen and Monsta X.

Examples :-

based on the groups i’ve heard, exo and rv. sm has got mixing and production really nailed down, even if the song itself isn’t to my taste.

Eden is such a good producer (And his own music that he fully produced himself is also sooo good). He worked on literally every of the group's songs and seems very dedicated to his work as a producer. There is not a single bad song he ever made (in case you need a detailed list of Eden's work, I wrote an article in the lexicon for him)

Hmmm Idk to me its IU I never found her songs iffy they always sound high quality and well thought out.

Musically, there are many good artists.

But when it comes to putting together a production with the right story, conveyed as lyrics with matching MV themes filled with clues and symbolisms - IU team never seem to miss the trick.

Of course the base of it all are the lyrics, and that is why even without MV, even the b-sides hit the mark.

I am finnicky about the over use of instruments (instrumental sounds) in songs, and many times wish that some song were available just as Acapella.

But with IU, I haven't felt that at all.

I'd say NCT. I love the way harmonies and bg vocals get implemented with their work, also how everyone sings the chorus (this seems to be a common thing in sm groups tho} take kick it and favorite for example.
