My second 7/10 in a row. I debated putting it one lower, as I don't love the song, or one higher, as I enjoy it slightly more than 0325, before settling on the same ranking. I decided on the same ranking because I reached the same conclusion about it. The song has some parts that I enjoy more than others. If it was on, depending on my mood, I might skip it or I might not, but I most likely wouldn't. Again, I do think they have better songs.

What I like a lot about the song is the lyrics, as I relate to them a lot at this point in my life right now. An adult who is between being an adult and a child, full of conflicting feelings. Wanting life to speed up and slow down at the same time, and both for very different reasons. What I dislike is how melancholic and slow the beat is. Then again, it makes sense. You wouldn't expect a song about this topic to be upbeat and cheerful non-stop to be fair. Also, it doesn't sound super melodic, or super aggressive and rap heavy either, mostly staying between the two the whole time (the delivery and tone does change though, it's not monotone the whole time) and I'm still deciding how I feel about that to be honest.

Sorry for the late reply. Bad internet. I wanted to say that's a recurring theme for song of theirs that I dislike. Even if the music doesn't hit, the lyrics always do.

I'm glad I found you a slower song from them you like. Their rap really is top tier for me. It probably could. Sometimes in their songs they put a noticeable amount of autotune in and they don't need it. Their voices are great as is!

Did NOT see that coming, but I'm not complaining at all. They do have a few other R&B songs I think you might like in that case that'll come a bit later on (as in I haven't posted them at all yet).

The only thing is they have to convey emotion to me, either through vocals, song structure, performance, lyrics, or all of the above. If not, then it's just a boring slow song.

Then I can already name drop some songs I know you'll love for sure. Some of them sadly won't come for a while, but based off of what you said, I'm positive you'll love them:

Star Lost - It's a nice, calming song but still has a tiny bit of energy

I Hate To Admit It - So much emotion in Chan's voice, and a slower song from them

Neverending Story - One of my favorite ballads from them

Red Lights - Very R&B-like

Cause I Like You - Again, one of my favorite slower songs from them and has some nice emotion in it too

But yeah, an example of a boring ballad/slow song IMO would be Someone Like You. It's cute but it's probably my least favorite Twice ballad. It's kind of flat honestly.

Edit: I checked it out and I can kind of see what you mean, but it has enough emotion for me, and it's not that bad for me.
