Do grammatical errors in English lyrics of kpop songs bother you?

Yep. Especially if they are easily fixable so the song still scans and makes sense.

Yes.. There is alot of cringy/bad english in kpop songs and I really dislike it. I wish companies would hire native english speakers to make sure all of the lyrics make sense and are good to release. There are some songs that I like but hate the lyrical content of, and it makes it hard to sing along to those parts.

"Why always makes me hard?" in ATEEZ's Sunrise sounds a bit awkward to me.

Mostly I just chuckle the first couple of times and then I don't even notice anymore.

Do you wanna upside down?

Don't you wanna up and down?

it crossed the line from grammatical error to nonsense but the song is too catchy for me to care that much

Apparently this is a cover of an older SM song. I'm like this song is 10 years old, couldnt SM hire some rando intern from the States to fix the lyrics before rereleasing the song?

you know what’s funny, i’m pretty sure the lyrics i pasted aren’t even in the original song which means they added them into the cover a strange move on the producers’ part but maybe they were going for a meme type of thing?

As a native English speaker, sometimes. It’s usually the lyrics that can be easily fixed that bother me the most. “Red five diamonds in my bag” just needed to be “five red diamonds in my bag”.

They're one of the reasons that Kpop is fun to me. I like them lol

I think for me personally no it doesnt USUALLY bother me unless its important to the song. Like if its in the chorus and i hear it over and over then yes

Or like a mistranslation thats easy to fix “shut your mouth, close your tongue” or whatever in mamacita by SuJu is a good example of that
