Nice that it's a cover of a Day 6 song. I didn't expect a slower song to open a mixtape though.
I think it works well with her vocals, so not a bad choice imo.
I'm curious what we'll get with the other mixxtape releases.

Right? I remember Xdi's I'm Serious cover awhile back too. It's so good to see them cover their senior's songs and show their admiration for them.

I'm sure the cover will be great, but JYPE, I am tired of NMIXX doing covers. They have been doing covers for like almost a year. Can we PLEASE get them some actual original music? And not just a single and a b-side. PLEASE. I'm tired of this. Seriously. They can't even perform a full set of their own music yet.

And they have been dropping covers since September of last year. It'd be different if they released an actual mini like Twice. Or if they were completely fresh like ITZY, and JYPE did not spend 6 months of them dropping covers to drop 2 songs, a children's OST, and 50 more covers.
I'm tired of it. I love NMIXX, but O.O was not the most satisfying debut. I haven't listened to it once since they stopped doing music show performances. I want some good music I can enjoy and replay. They are a music group. Not a cover band. I want new music. I already know the girls can cover other people's music and do it well. I already know they have immense talent. I want music.
Other fans may be satisfied with covers, and I am happy Haewon is getting some solo promotion. But, yes, I am not going to act like I am not disappointed.
Ok, I'm not even sure of how could you be a fan of a group that you don't even like the one single song they have, but anyways let's point that: they debuted 4 months ago, jype have other groups that have to drop songs too. "oh bu was just 2 songs", yeah like basically every debut in this generation. It's make no sense you being disappointed about the girls doing covers, do you prefer they being just doing nothing or giving only vlogs as content? and if you was expecting a original song from this so-called mixtape It's just kinda dumb to be honest, it's jyp, it's not like is normal for the company's groups' members being dropping original songs outta nowhere

I don't think it is a bad choice either. The song just feels like it would come after 60%-75% of the entire playthrough. Maybe it will make more sense after everything is out there.
