At this point the only deciding factor is how successful Aespa's new comeback would be. Bts comeback didn't ruffle any feathers, no new heights reached nor could they reach their old heights. Bts started losing Daesangs to other groops last year esp to Aespa. Depending on how good Aespa cb will be, there's a great chance they'll snatch the big award from Bts too.
Is it possible for Aespa to win ArOTY Daesang at MAMA this year considering BTS recent comeback didn't quite hit the mark?

Mama is gonna be harder since they count international charts or is what i remember so BTS would likely win this one
speaking of artist of the year in other awards shows, couldn't Gidle or even IVE won it too since they had a phenomenal year? especially since Gidle will likely have the biggest idol song this year and IVE had 2 hits, Love Dive is keeping strong on the charts too, still in top 3 and could possibly get another comeback before year end, Gidle will also get a second comeback this year
And then there is that Blackpink comeback too if YG ever gonna let them out of dungeon, we have to see how aespa does too

You make sense of course, but in the mind of a troll, those groups just aren't big enough to get very much traction out of mentioning, so they don't. Trolls live for attention after all.
