Does it make difference in album sales if the album is mini or full?

BTS have sold different types of albums over the years : Single albums, Mini albums, Full length studio albums, Compilation albums, Repackage albums, Special albums, and recently Anthogy album.

From my observation, the things that affected the album sales are price of the albums. Number of versions also did show an effect but not that much.

So to answer your question : No. I don't think the type of album affects the album sales. Number of versions and prices do.

I think it depends only on whether the group has build a solid dedicated fandom..then it barely makes a difference

Assuming total photocards are same, having 3 photocards per album make u sell less album instead. Unless u make 3 photocards per album and increase the total number of unique photocards (recent example - seventeen with over 200 types)

minis tend to be cheaper than full albums, but if a full album is full of emblématique songs and concepts then it's going to sell more... hiatus also play part on this, if it's a full after a long time fans are probably saving to buy it

There was a time in the past when Studio Albums dramatically outsold Mini Albums but that changed when Mini Albums started including the same Extras that Studio Albums had but Mini Albums were cheaper.

Less Songs on an Album means the less money the Company has to pay for buying the songs which is why Studio Albums are more expensive
