I think this is BangPD's way of sending a message to the rest of Kpop, this is BTS taking back the Korean market from lil whippersnapper upstarts like Aespa, Ive and Gidle. And a response to Bigbang's Still Life, which was also kinda like a nostalgic lookback at their career.

Imo, BTS have achieved more than most groups could and their comebacks are generally successful. Aespa are just starting granted, but they still have an awfully long way to go yet.
