hyolyn did leave her group but i don't know what success youre talking about..
Yea Hyolyn is the definition of flop without the group.

All of C-members that left Korea for China
JYPark was in JYPark and the NG while LSM was in a Band
I can think of those right now:
Han Geng (former Super Junior)
Lay (former EXO - if that counts)
Luhan (former EXO)
Victoria (former f(x))
Krystal (former f(x))
Zico (former BlockB)
Kang Daniel (former WannaOne)
Sunmi (former Wonder Girls)
Suzi (former Miss A)
Lee Hyori (former FinK.L.)
Wonho (former MonstaX)
Hwang Jung Eum of Sugar.
Successful career - any career?.. then there would be many, particularly who went into acting.
But if their group was successful, I don't think there has been a single case where post-group solo singing career has been more successful than the group success, in the last 10 or so years.
One would have to go to Rain, Hyori, Hyuna for that.
Even Taeyeon is not as successful as SNSD was in their heyday and she is probably only next to IU, as a successful soloist.
Chungha, Somi - not as successful as IOI, though it blazed in glory only for a very short while.
And then there are people like JYP and YG, who are far more successful businessmen than they were idols.
I think that will continue to happen, even when Twice, BP and BTS go solo, and their groups have entirely stopped being active. Their individual success will not match up to the groups'.
