Do you take pictures of your food in restaurants before dig in?

I don't think normal people actually do that. Only people who NEED their whole lives on social media do that kinda stuff, the rest of us just...eat. What would you even use those pictures for other than SNS? Maybe if there was a rat in your fried chicken, yes, but normal people just eat it and go.

When I go out with my mom, she does take pics of Mr for memories, we don't really post it

Not all the time. I don't post them in social media (unless it's something particularly pretty or weird) but I share them with my sisters in our group chat. Forget about going to restaurants, I often take photos of what I'm eating at home and show it to my sisters lol.

I don't take selfies with my food though.

The only time I took a picture of my food was after I burnt it so thoroughly that I was curious to see if anyone would still be able to guess what it was.

Yes, espeicially when my daughter and I are out together. I also take a photo of food I cook as well.

Usually only when I'm at a very popular and/or expensive restaurant and I want to post it online. Most of the time, I'd do it to keep to myself or share with some friends.

No. But I did in the past. I got over it. Taking pictures makes things seem special and most food isn't that special.
