Most of them are bought and paid for and usually give it to those that choose to attend. I wouldn't take them seriously. Very rarely do the best performing songs win those awards.

If not in July, I would rather they wait to do her solo until after a group comeback because it's been too long.

Yeah, she does it in some of her concerts too. I can't think of many other western artists that do such a thing. They either do a full live, live to a loud backing track, or just lipsync to the CD vocals lol.

With Bravegirls getting on melon in only 2 hours, seems pretty likely it will reach the top 10 within a day. Maybe because they released a summer bop with actual quality.

Beyonce's was scandalous because she was singing the national anthem at a big event (I think the president was there), and then she blamed everyone else but herself, such as the band and the tv station, when people questioned if it was live in real time. Later she admitted she sang a live pre-recorded track in advance because she didn't find time to practice. It was big news in America like a decade ago. I don't think it's quite been a decade yet, but I recall it being sometime just before or after President Obama's reelection.

Also some blinks are fond of selective achievements. In any way they can squeeze an achievement in, they’ll go for it which is kinda desperate. There are better achievements they can call out for BP

This is extremely common with all big fan groups, especially armies and onces. You should see the amount of threads of selective achievements that are honestly quite random, posted by the same users multiple times in a day sometimes, by those fandoms as well. It's a problem most fan groups have, so don't pretend like it's something unique to a few people in one fandom, or that somehow one fandom is worse than all the others.

People are jealous that they are the most successful girl group with such little releases, that's most of the reason.

You Think is a title track. It was their attempt at the double track title that 2NE1 was successful with, but it didn’t work for them.

You Think was the only title track by them after Jessica left that I liked.

every live we hear that's not in one take isn't really live. "they are in that studio singing live", yes, but that's not what we hear. they can sing terribly off-key for all we know. they are doing multiple takes, editors take the best cuts, afterwards they add a vocal track and that's the product we see.

live performances in one take are live even if pitch correction and vocal effects are used. watch the video i posted above "reality and expectation", it explains everything well.

concert releases on dvds are all live but edited. fixing mic levels that are uneven, fixing debatable notes are a given. i remember watching bts concert, suga's mic was too low but in dvd release it got fixed.

LAR exists but is more rare in the west. Beyoncé does it and has had scandals over that before.

Casual fans? Blackpink. The data seems to suggest as such. Anything that doesn't require much hardcore effort/money, like streaming, downloading, following/subscribing, liking things, etc on various platforms, they generally crush any other group that's not BTS (well, they compete in some of those, but overall no match).

Most people on this forum seem to have little knowledge of music production or audio quality. Which is understandable since it's a rather niche interest. I think if I didn't have such knowledge, I too would be in the dark and think the same.

I Can't Stop Me is a very difficult song to sing, perhaps why that's part of why I like it so much. It's become my favorite song of theirs. However, I can understand why few would cover it, it's hard to do well without lots of processing and studio help. It was very obvious that it's that difficult of a song when the girls struggled so much in most of their encore stages last year.

Sounds like a banger that will get into the melon top 10 within a day, two max.
