I see the group continuing but some members won’t renew

The songs u listed, are really huge hits that stand the test of time. Charted in multiple years and have great longevity.
Some of them might not be the biggest song in respective year, that dont really take awat the credit and achievement from them.
In AIIYL's case, the longest charting top 100 girl group hit on Gaon, though. The other songs were all huge as well, but don't have such an achievement.

I'm expecting to be disappointed by lack of new content, but I like to be surprised.

Ever heard of hyperbole?
I have a Master's Degree in English literature, so of course I have; however, that clearly was not the intent of the OP.
-
Congrats to Seventeen. They deserve it.
-
I didn't choose kpop, I feel that it chose me. lmao

Not really, just find it funny you need to enter a thread to look down on a group you don't even stan rather than supporting BP, you don't see alot of Once downplaying BP achievement here in this forum do you...? Just saying but whatever..
Seems like you're whining, personally. Otherwise you'd laugh without response.
Oh I see it all the time. More so before, but now that BP is bigger it's a lot harder to do. -
I hope vaccination goes smoothly in your area and you can get back to a more normal version of life soon.
Thank you. I would like to be able to join the club activities with my students again. I haven't in over a year now due to restrictions. Also we have no AC in schools here and wearing a mask in hot humid weather for 9 hours is hell.
I hope the same for wherever you're living.
Edit: sorry I realize this is off topic -
Didn't you said before you are a teacher in Japan..??? Shouldn't you be busy now rather than whining here non stop about a group you don't even like..??? I didn't knew teacher are so free nowadays...?
Yes, I am, it's evening here and I'm not at work.
Late June, July, and early August are pretty dead here at the schools, especially with Corona Virus still being a threat. My city only started vaccinating like last week for the elderly.
Funny that my truthful posts are seen as whining to you and then you whine about them, but thanks. -
Finally! Thank you for acknowledging Twice's success! We appreciate you.
Even if they are constantly overshadowed, I never said their success wasn't growing in some areas, it's growing in the areas that aren't declining.

Music management yes
But their idols have best contracts and profit sharing. Even with less music, they are richest idols.
So it work out in other ways. Thats why not only singers, but actors sign with them.
Surprisingly, I agree with all of this.
Their music management department needs major executive staff changes. -
Placing #6 on the Billboard200 is spectacular. Placing #1 on the number of physical albums sold in the US this week is spectacular.
Not everyone has to be #1 at all times every time. I'm sorry if your standards are that impossibly high.
After 6 years and about 30 albums, finally getting there is spectacular, I guess you could say that.
-
Don't you get tired of writing the same shit over and over?
The day people stop responding is the day I might get tired

No, no other kpop girl group has ever charted this high with a mini album. That's a fact. Doesn't matter if you don't like it.
Yeah the "mini album" qualifier. A regular album is no different, which has been done before. You're just placing that there because Twice isn't doing anything spectacular and remain behind lmao.
-
Exactly! It goes like this:
Twice: does something no other kpop girl group has ever done before (highest rank for a kpop girl group mini-album on Billboard 200)
Haters: nah, Twice not relevant
Once:
that "mini album" qualifier because girl groups have already done this, and much faster/better...

In case people are uncertain why the ONCEs are gloating...
TWICE Makes Billboard 200 History As “Taste Of Love” Debuts In Top 6, Becoming 1st Mini Album By Female K-Pop Act To Enter Top 10
Edit: Note, this isn't Billboard Global 200, this is Billboard 200 - as in, this is the U.S.-specific album chart.
Considering their first week charting position was the same as the second week for another girl group, it's nothing to gloat about imo. In my opinion, the second week Twice likely will barely even be on the chart, if at all.

It’s already there. If Dalla Dalla, Nonstop, Me Gustas Tu, Red Flavor can be considered national hits then so is Next Level.
All of those songs didn't get those titles until after their runs on the chart were about finished. Also there is an argument over if half of those are even national hits to begin with.
I think NL could definitely get there and is on that trajectory currently. -
YG needs to pay for the RIAA audit to have them certified already, but I doubt he will. Last I checked artists or their labels have to pay for an "audit" where they then release the certifications.
-
I wouldn't say it's there yet but it's certainly getting closer and closer to such status.
-
I was also looking for Lisa's single to get in the top 10 at least.
Only Loona is left for June i think. But i dont think they've ever charted on Melon 24HRs.
BTS is coming out with a single album in July, with Butter and a new song included, i'm assuming it's Permission to Dance. It obviously has a shot at #1 with a MV.
Soyeon is coming out in July as well with her debut.
Soyeon from T-ara, or a different Soyeon?
