it would be an absurd claim though, because the content i see is not an actual measurement of anything except the things i pay attention to.

as i said, i'm active enough to see what people from my fandoms are talking about, what people out of my fandoms are talking about or what locals are talking about.

but leaving this aside - every time exo has a cb or bts has a cb or even bigbang has a cb everyone on my feed more or less talks about it. it's an event. i can't say the same about the other groups i mentioned though.

anyway, no need to be so butthurt over an anonymous post on a kpawp forum. if you like them boys then that's great, keep rooting for them!

i'm quite active on several different platforms, i see what most people are talking about and i stand by my words boy groups stans part of the fandoms i mentioned aren't proving me wrong because as i said, they may be hyped about their boys but no one outside their fandoms cares or knows what's going on, which was my whole point

what is happening with boy groups these days? before bg comebacks were whole events, the whole industry knew that exo, svt, nct or btob for example are releasing new music but now it's crickets unless you're actively following the groups

in comparison, almost everyone was tuning in for stayc, ive, itzy and aespa - both fans and casual listeners. the whole tl on twitter was talking about it, there were threads and threads about them, people were comparing songs, rating bsides from the albums, making edits with them and etc but if i ask someone "did you listen to maniac" they'll ask me if i'm talking about that conan gray song

i don't understand why kpop stans feel the need to make a dramatic announcement and post long explanations about why they want to unstan a group. trust me, no one will hunt you down if one day you stop listening to one's music or remove their badge from your profile.

eeh idk maybe i haven't paid attention enough to notice any big controversies with the boys but i still stand by my words. lesserafim being a gg plays a huge part in the amount of hate they're receiving and that's something that every big 3 gg experiences too, regardless of the company. the amount of hate aespa, itzy and nmixx experienced both pre- and post- debut is nowhere near what the 4th gen bgs from sm and jyp went through. people just like shitting on women for the smallest things without any good reason. but ig that's the price you need to pay to debut in a big company - all eyes are on you which is not always a good thing.
