y'all are acting a bit too defensive when no one is even talking against gidle. regardless of the name of the article, cube still could've worded the statement better. i doubt the reporter would mind periphrasing the title with the goal of sounding a bit more professional, especially when a link to the article is provided. after all they're a music label, not dispatch and should watch what and how they're posting

looking too much into it imo. this scandal is huge and i mean HUGE, especially in korea. even if evidence, proving garam is innocent comes out people will still drag her to hell and back. bullying is a big problem in Korea and it's a very sensitive subject. hybe ain't that stupid, there are TONS of other better ways to promote their concept without harming the image of the group or the company.
personally, i don't believe the rumours. i'm sure hybe and source music are smart enough to do some background check before debuting a group... after all the things garam is being accused of are pretty serious and i doubt she could cover it up or hide it in any way before auditioning to hybe, training there and etc...
i'm not defending the girl but i don't understand why kpop stans wanted a statement from hybe and when they finally got it, they don't believe it and called it lies... i even saw comments slutshaming her and she's like 16... the whole situation seems shady af imo

glad to see justice winning. the drama is great and all those people hating on it after blindly trusting random posts on twitter and kforums without actually watching the show are 1) very stupid and should feel embarrassed and 2) missing out big time.

a company chooses what products they sell or services they product to benefit the company not the "masses" right?
I mean every company that debuts a new group whether it be BG or GG think that their group is special and will be hte next big thing and earn that company a lot of money right?
obviously not all of them succeed and I would agree that there is over-saturation for both BG and GG and thus the laws of survival and supply and demand should dictate (albeit harsh) that those who don't do well, sell, chart etc etc will disband and those who do survival and thrive...
by "anyone" i meant the company and the members of the groups which will be affected the most, not the masses and people in general

Let them debut first. Do we know all of their debut dates? Are they confirmed?
they're currently holding auditions for the umg group which means they'll debut either next year or 2024
the ador group is expected to debut by the end of 2022
the iland gg is also expected to debut within 2022, most probably Q3 after iland season 2 airs
according to the rumours that have been circulating for months now, hybe is preparing to debut 3 ggs within 2022/beginning of 2023, the first of which will be lesserafim.
i understand they're trying to lower their dependency on bts but debuting so many groups in such a short period of time is never a good idea. it's like they're trying to oversaturate the market on their own. it might bring them some quick cash but in the long run, it'll be really really really difficult for those groups to set themselves aside from the rest unless they have some super-duper new never seen before concept and music interesting enough to attract long-term hardcore fans.

because they're not a strictly fandom driven group. vips were by no means a small fandom but a group that is doing as good on charts and being as popular as bigbang doesn't need their fans mass buying albums to artificially boost their numbers. they were doing just well and vips knew that. after all it's better to buy a ticket for a concert than to buy 5 copies of the same album. plus most of their streams were coming from the general public and we know the general public doesn't care about how much sales an album has
I assume most of you have at least watched the harry potter movies and know how the Hogwarts houses stuff works so i'm curious - what house are you and what house would you assign to your favourite idols and why?
(of course, it won't be 100% accurate because we don't know these people irl but i think it'll be fun to discuss)
