It hits me randomly, like I'll be going about my day and I suddenly think of them and how they've disbanded. I honestly feel disbelief. I didn't stan them but I've listened to every single album and followed them since debut so it's still surreal, I think because their disbandment was so sudden/unexpected.

and it's been my favorite song for seven years. It holds so many memories for me. I don't think any other K-pop song will ever replace it.

No. Of songs released by 4th gen groups are obviously less compared to 3rd gen groups.
Music releases are definitely less I agree but I wasn't sure if that person was referring to content such as youtube, v-live, etc. because that's definitely not true lol

4th gen has too little content compared to other gens. They already lose because of that. 1st gen had shitty music, I won't change my opinion on that. 2nd gen had great, fun and unpretentious music but most of it sound outdated now. So 3rd gen wins, but it's not like they released masterpieces back and forth either. They do have better and less dated songs overall, though.
I'm curious as to what you mean by 4th gen has too little content compared to other gens?

It's all subjective. I saw a comment you made saying he wasn't good looking before. I think he was though.

Wow! He looks great before and after, but all that matters is that he now feels more confident!

This thread is going to flop I can feel it.

Should we use this thread to share our Apple Music Replay? I'm nosy hehe so I'm interested in the top songs/artists/albums you have listened to so far this year. We could share previous years or even just post once at the end of the year. Maybe it's just me but I think it'd be interesting
I'll post mine below first.

It's definitely not the main reason for Everglow 's moderate success.
Perhaps not the main reason but the sentiment is certainly there. Even on their debut articles Koreans were writing them off just for having Chinese members/being a Chinese company. Those people didn't give them a chance from the start.

Do you know if Mnet is going to post full episodes with subtitles on their channel? Or if not, where there is a good place to watch the show? I've been wondering this but have no clue.

It seems like there's a few users who lurk around here and constantly post hate on the Chinese every chance they get and it's usually from accounts that are newly created.
Anyways, I have lots of family in SK, and though the general sentiment on China is poor in SK (especially men), for actual kpop fans, fans who actually spend money on kpop, I don't hear much hate there. Most of my family and their friends over there are big Aespa, NCT, gidle fans. All those groups have Chinese/Foreign members, and they love them and spend a ton of money on them. Though it's a small sample size, but it does show that it's not as bad as what some of these haters are saying.
Tell that to Everglow who can't seem to find success in Korea because of the fact that they're managed by a Chinese company. Korean fans care.

I agree with that
People always act like I haven't seen anything else in kpop when I praise bts
"They're not the best. It's just because they're popular you're a fan"
Well here's the thing
I listen to kpop albums once in a while and also new releases
So yes I've listened to your faves already
I've heard their titles and their filler songs
I like some of their bsides yes
I tried the whole getting to know the members thing (especially if I really like their releases)
But they don't stick to me because I've already found the group I think is the best
and some people just got to deal with that
I understand this completely. I don't stan BTS but obviously some people will think they're the best boy group. The problem is when those fans can't accept that others do not. Really, it works both ways!
