Their previous encore sounded indeed better, but this win really came as a surprise for them (and for everyone watching) so that might be the reason why they sounded off; they were taken aback by the announcement.

Also, because most groups lip synch these days, they don't necessarily have a proper audio setup so when they happen to need to sing live for an encore, they might have a hard time hearing themselves which impair their ability to sing in tune.

God forbid the girls have any fun during an ENCORE after a WIN.

Well i mean it is a bad encore, and obviously they have public’s eyes so they’re getting a lot of cooments. Lastly, it’s also a fact that the shield here is severe, considering what other encore performances y’all have made thinkpieces about.LBR, if a rookie SM/JYP/YG artist sang like this encore, it would be bad.
