tl;dr its cuz of the volleyball twins who bullied like 4 ppl in their middle school volleyball team with knives or scissors and whatever else was there (wtf why are there sharp items involved?)

OP gave context of bullying in KOrea and how it is more of an attack on dignity and not just stealing pens

You'll think that after a lot of celebrities being false accused will make them think twice lol

I still remember when the police find out that 28 male accused 18 old Wanna One Jihoon of bullying him in middle school, not only it was 10 years difference so they obvious weren't same generation but they didn't even lived anywhere close and they didn't knew each other at all and when they asked him why he did it, the answer it was "just for fun".

Lovelyz's Jisoo too, the accusations were insane and everybody believed them, they witch hunted her to the sky, there were more victims too, it took her almost 2 years to clean her name when they find out the female accuser was actually a middle age man, the girl had a mental shock and received medical treatment for it.

Thats a problem itself that people easily believe everything because supposed they are scared of defamation laws, especially koreans easily believe anything, even without proofs. There is no more innocent until proved guilty, they are basically guilty until proved innocent.

Being a celebrity and looks like student too is sure a hell in Korea, the stress level must be so high,a anonymous accusation can literally ruin your life even without any proofs.
