most people buy albums because of the idols and not because of the music per se...that's not just limited to kpop though...
and we are fans/causual listens/stans etc etc consume such product so in effect we are customers no?

NO JUST NOTHE PRODUCTS IS BEING ABLE TO VIEW THE MV, THE CONCERT TICKETS, THE ALBUMS, MERCH,ETC. THE IDOLS ARE NOT THE PRODUCT.
its like instead of calling the tire factory itself the product instead of the tire. Hell naw you ain't gonna tell the factory how to run their shit, just like you can't even begin to expect to be able to control idols' lives, body, or behavior.
