Twice, Once a day #45 - "FFW"

This is a good song, but I have to be in the right mood to appreciate it.

The spelling of Fast Forward and the choppy nature of the melody can be a bit jarring at times.

I'll give it a 6.

I remember being addicted to this song! Still am but haven't listened to it in a long time...

That rap is FIRE!!! I love the transition from the bridge to the last chorus. The high note is beautiful

I feel bad for saying this but there are a few Twice songs I can name with this same sort of shouty thing going on which isn't the best for the song but it fits (I think Do it Again's shouty cheers is my least favorite but other ones like this are FFW and Headphones Sseo it's just...eh.)

It's not even on my playlist and I rated it pretty high. But then again, I don't usually rate a Twice song under 5.

It's a pretty good song though. I think it would've been better without the F.A.S.T F.O.R.W.A.R.D

I feel like I do it once every 6 months. Or just when I feel like it

I used to do it like album by album, typing in a new album or saying "Alexa play [insert Twice album here]" because I memorized the album names and order of release, regardless of language.

But I also have Alexa play random Twice songs all night and she typically goes through the whole discography while I'm sleeping. It's enough for me to remember it all

I like it. I don't remember the albums much but I think Twicetagram is probably one of my favorite Twice albums. I love the "sound" of the album, I don't know if that make sense, but I can not love a song itself but still love the sound....

Anyways, some of the best Twice b-sides imo is from Twicetagram. Turtle, Missing you, Love Line.

But early Twice b-sides are also what many say were "bad" and I get it, early Twice sound isn't for everyone.

I know the recent stuff is objectively better, its more friendly to a wider audience but I don't get the same feel for recent stuff.

Yep! The sound of the songs are so cohesive and I always get a tinge of nostalgia when I listen to Twicetagram especially. I think I get what you're saying. Sort of reminds me about how people like albums for each tracks' sounds' cohesiveness to each other. I think that Twicetagram and Taste of Love are the most cohesive albums, sound-wise. Maybe throw Eyes Wide Open in there.

Yeah...people do complain that their older ones were bad. Mostly pre-Twicetagram. I don't think they're bad per se. I do think that their music production and technical quality has probably skyrocketed since then though but I would never call those older songs bad. They don't fit a lot of tastes.

I like listening to The Story Begins, one of the main reasons simply being I really like the tracks there even today.

Yeah. I feel like these b-sides are more well-known in general, especially to the more casual Twice listener. I almost feel as though the newer b-side tracks, especially everything post Fancy You album (sorry) is "relevant" to the public these days. I almost feel that these b-sides overshadow the older ones and I believe that the bigger ONCE tends to go back in time to listen to those older ones.

I've went through the entire discography once when I first got into Twice but back then I did not like cutesy songs so I just skimmed through all the songs. I listened to beginning few seconds, then skip to chorus and decide if I want to download it.

Then when I became a huge Nayeon stan, I went through the entire thing again without skipping but I also just background listened to some of the songs.

This is the 3rd time going through it slowly with my focus. It's still a lot of songs lol.

I just went through the entire discography the first time because I become such an invested stan that I was almost set on catching up on most things. Listening to all of their songs, watching every TTT episode, watch all of SIXTEEN, watch Seize the Light, and hopefully watch every Twice TV episode (somehow, lol)

I'm not actually listening to most of these songs. I'm playing them in my mind from what I remember. Probably would be best to re-listen to them because opinions change and it's sometimes a while since I listened to them since the posting of the thread so...yeah. I'll keep that in mind lmao (note to self!)

Really? I can't sleep without music...I hate the silence trying to fall asleep, honestly.

I just sleep every night with music. Sometimes I even just take one song and ask Alexa to loop it all night while I sleep. I've done that with songs like Stardust Love Song by Jihyo, Closer by Oh My Girl and of course, the ultimate Twice lullaby, Jaljayo Good Night!

That's a great amount! And I actually believe that Twice is the KPOP girl group with the largest discography! I could be wrong though, especially if it happens to be a 2nd gen gg. I don't have much knowledge on them.

BTS is the largest discography for bg, I believe too.

I happen to find any other noise other than music during me sleeping annoying and disruptive. It's kind of weird...like I don't like listening to nature sounds or ASMR sounds...or anyone speaking or anything. Just music for me.
