Twice, Once a day #8 - "BDZ"

A big fat 10!!!

It gets a 5. It's fairly average. Groovy beat but otherwise unremarkable and easily forgettable.

And that's only the Japanese version.

The Korean version sounds even stranger to me.

BDZ deserve better!!!!

It's also one of my favorite movie, the whole spy theme. Now I'm seeing it as they're sneaking in and infiltrating my heart

BDZ is awesome if somewhat odd for a Twice track by how much it sounds like a Miss A song(I'm leaning more to Goodbye Baby soundwise), it has the minimalism and bounce of JYP's classic production sound. I gave it a 10 as it's my fave Twice Japanese track by far and somewhere in the top songs of 2018 if I ever sort that out.

I mean, it's still good but there's just something about it that irks me. Maybe it's the chorus, the "let's go, let's go" adlibs...not really sure.

I just know that I'm still mad about Jeongyeon not having the first part of the last chorus when she comes in with the BDZ at the end of the music video...

Still a good and addicting song though!

This is an 8. Love this song. Just a fun track. Great concert song. They spared no expense on the music video except on the actors, and I like how they made Twice look like a girl crush concept before the song starts and they swerve us by giving us the bubbly boppiness they were known for at the time. Even the little Lovelys that I initially thought were creepy as hell have really grown on me over time. Now I have Lovely merch.

Yet another solid Japanese title track.
