Ofc I would like to watch cool mvs with some budget but they are not an important factor because I usually watch an MV the first time when it's out and then I drop it.
I am not the type to stream kpop mvs and I will always flop in "guess the kpop mv screenshots game" because of this reason 
not really, i think. because red velvet has some funny music videos but i absolutely adore them and their music regardless.

especially when the mv shows the choreography too
it's not an important factor, but it's more fun to listen to a song while watching the MV. In return it does help me get hooked to the song and then I would try some other MVs and there goes the rabbit hole...

But I'm also different than most people in that I prefer lower budget music videos.
They have more charm in my opinion.
good mv + good music = attract new fans
i do think mv plays a role in impressing new fans with the group, and usually mvs are the closest thing that general public can search to know more about the group, especially if the members are usually hard to differentiate or distinguish
Important but not the most important thing. Having a good MV is like making a good first impression (for a specific comeback).
