what will the best solution for the whole garam situation?

  • Are they tho? YG has also been by far the most resilient to scandals as well (as can be seen by looking at korean charts right now)

Well I'm mostly thinking about how YG handled Jennie's stupid 'lazy' scandal. All they had to say was she was injured and she wouldn't have gotten all that unnecessary hate

As for Belift, they barely ever respond to Enhypen's scandals and just leave them to be chewed up by social media even if it isn't Enhypen's fault

  • We need to send every thread to the dumpster fire so that no one can edit their stuff.

Then we will forever have receipts and evidence of every bullying incident on AKP

  • So, how did it go for them? That's my question. @@@0e43793c-abcd-477f-96e0-5324c469a759@@@ because sometimes, I feel like addressing the controversy only makes things worse. Like giving ammo to the accusers that they can use to fire back.

You have to take into account the SK society and culture. While I agree that not addressing any random controversy is probably for the best, bullying is a an entire different ordeal. I personally think it's best to address it especially if it could have a seed of truth.

As for Garam, Hybe should get to the bottom of this and take it from there.

Regardless of the outcome, a lot of damage has been done already. Those photos don't really paint the most flattering and gp friendly image either.

  • basically they accused her of being a bully, but also threw in the fact that she drew some NSFW stuff on a chalkboard, which who the hell cares? Sure that ruins her "pure and innocent" image but you can't sit here and tell me that no teenager has ever drawn some tits on a chalkboard for laughs. That doesn't make her a bad person at all, and definitely doesn't contribute to the fact that she allegedly bullied someone. The accuser threw that in to make Garam look bad. Think about it; Does drawing NSFW make you a bully or a bad person? No, it doesn't.

was allegedly drinking and smoking. Ok? Teens do that. Sure it's illegal but they're still gonna drink and smoke and they're gonna find way to do so. And it's not affecting anyone else, only herself. If she's doing it she's obviously aware of the risks but did it anyways for her own reasons. I highly doubt she was smoking though, or at least in this picture im almost 100% sure that this isn't a cigarette. It looks too small and skinny to be a cig.

  • It would help if developmentally appropriate teenage behavior was not regarded as an intrinsic and unforgivable flaw of character. Smoking underage or even having impulse control problems does not necessarily mean you're going to grow up to be Michael Myers.

I wonder what theoretical framework SK uses for understanding child development?
