your idol does not have a unique voice. They are singing in a style. So if they turn off that style and sing normally they will proably sound like every other person. Sometimes an idols singing style can hurt their vocal chords like park bom before she went solo, just look at her predebut vocals before YG ruined them, she sounded so beautiful and had better technique but YG wanted her to sound like that. Rosé uses the same style as bom but just some little changes here and there but basically the same. Rose's voice isnt fake but a style so if she turned that style off she would sound like how she sounded in that song with g dragon (cant remember what the songs called for the life of me).
Unique vocals are not a thing.

Unique vocals are definitely a thing. Is there anyone in pop music that can sound like this? NO ONE has her combination of chocolatey velvet richness, super emotive raspiness, full, rounded and soaring upper belts, and exquisite falsetto and whistle register.

I think it depends on the idol though. Its true that some idols do purposely change their voices (and eventually damage them) just to get a unique tone. I think Haechan is an example of an idol that doesn't do this and has already has a unique speaking tone that sounds similar to his singing tone.
