i don't think there's anything you can't buy with money.
What can't you buy with money?
-
-
You can't buy a country
-
True friendship
-
You can't buy a country
``It is not possible to buy a country, because countries are not owned by anyone. ... There are several factors that make a country a country, but the two most important ones are having a territory and having a state/government. You can, in theory, buy all of the territory of an existing country.''
-
u can't by talent
-
I can't buy Rose to marry me
-
True friendship
you can buy friendship but not true friendship
-
You can't buy a country
for the right price you can...
there are islands and little countries that i guess one could buy if one had enough money...

you can buy immortality

I can't buy Rose to marry me
you can if rose likes money
u can't by talent
you can buy people to help you get talent

If you can't buy something with money, means you aren't spending enough
-
you can if rose likes money
you can buy people to help you get talent
talent is not something that people get, it's something that is gifted
-
I can't buy my bias, she's priceless
-
talent is not something that people get, it's something that is gifted

-
``It is not possible to buy a country, because countries are not owned by anyone. ... There are several factors that make a country a country, but the two most important ones are having a territory and having a state/government. You can, in theory, buy all of the territory of an existing country.''
Which continues to:
"Buying the government is a much more difficult situation. In most country, sovereignty rests on the people rather than on the ruler, at least theoretically. In those situations you could own the land, but would not necessarily get to rule."
A country isn't just the land, but also it's people and the government that represents them.
-
and where would one buy immortality?
witch craft or something lmao
-
-
you can't buy a planet
-
also one cannot buy time...
-
for the right price you can...
there are islands and little countries that i guess one could buy if one had enough money...
You are buying the land, a country is more than just a geographical location.
-
you can't buy a planet
i guess not
also one cannot buy time...
i mean you can pay someone to give you more time
-
-
You are buying the land, a country is more than just a geographical location.
but then technically you would be able to create your own country on said land...
-
you can buy love and they can pretend its true, you can buy happiness too, and extra life you can rent a room in a higher quality hospitals
-
i guess not
i mean you can pay someone to give you more time
how can you pay someone to give you more than 24 hrs in a day?
-
how can you pay someone to give you more than 24 hrs in a day?
oh, i guess you can't then
-
but then technically you would be able to create your own country on said land...
wasn't LSM trying to create country or sth
-
-
but then technically you would be able to create your own country on said land...
Which skews the argument because you are not buying a country but creating one. This has been done before but that isn't the point.
-
you can if rose likes money
you can buy people to help you get talent
Everybody likes money
I'm too poor for that
-
you can buy love and they can pretend its true, you can buy happiness too, and extra life you can rent a room in a higher quality hospitals
I was trying to be poetic and inspiring LMAO
I don't think that's true love though. If you bought love, that means they're only there for the money LMAO. They may act like it but I mean, why would you not try to date someone with a lot of money? They'd take care of you LMAO. There's a difference between "happiness" and "true happiness." You can only do so much with money but you can buy anything in the world yet never be truly satisfied. The richest and most powerful have haters, haters don't make you happy. Sometimes the people who have a lot of money are some of the loneliest people because they have to work, they sometimes don't have time for relationships and money isn't endless. Some rich people feel like they are incomplete even though they have almost everything they could possibly want in the world. Smart rich people have to learn how to manage their money and not go and spend it all, and I hear that can be really hard. Sure, that could work, but that's what i meant. Unless there's some sort of device, it can't make you live longer than normal human life. I kind of meant immortality by this one. Only like a super-duper advanced device or something could make that possible maybe LMAO

Humility, pride basic
any emotion that doesn't make you a fucking dickhead really.
True friendship and love I guess.

Can you buy any of the major religions like Islam or the Roman Catholic Church?
-
Which skews the argument because you are not buying a country but creating one. This has been done before but that isn't the point.
So the argument would be that you have to buy an 'intact country'...
-
OKAY YOU CAN’T BUY SOME THINGS WITH MONEY
-
So the argument would be that you have to buy an 'intact country'...
Exactly. Establishing a separate sovereignty inside another country's territory has been done before. Legally contested but the Principality of Sealand is just that.
