I like Chinese pastries more than french ones but then again I'm chinese so maybe I'm bias
+1 Chinese pastries are really good. Here in the Bay Area they even do them really well. Prefer it to French pastries.
Silly take. It’s not like as if all the ingredients used in French Pastries originated in France lol.
I love them but unfortunately there arent many good french bakery places around me, but alot of knock off versions that make the pastry look good but taste terrible
This. It's so hard to find good French pastries.
dont they feel sick afterwards?
Display Morei mean
you can eat that stuff everyday, just in moderation
dont gobble up all of them everyday and you're good
i dont know how people overeat a lot in the first place
dont they feel sick afterwards?
As someone who has a problem with occasionally overeating...sometimes I do. Most times, I just feel stuffed to the brink.

Depends how you look at it. My take of Chinese pastry is those you get to see in Google search pics of traditional Chinese pastry, more about original styles created in China with the least or no influence from elsewhere than inside the mainland
Butter added in bread from selfmate is just an obvious trait for me to believe this pastry is not traditional Chinese in terms of style, has good western influence. nothing right or wrong.
