I think too an extent jyp doesn't know what song to give to twice either. Their results can vary quite a bit depending on the song.

Honestly I'll go with TWICE, they just need to release a song fit for Summer a la Alcohol-Free & release it during that timeframe. Scientist flopped cause it was kinda bad & no one was here for that in the middle of what...Autumn??
Though if we exclude AF ITZY are the best charting JYP group atm, so they could bag a hit eventually with the right song. Could be anyone's game really tbh

Only god knows why South Korea refuses to listen to Twice's music as they did before. They have released a lot of good songs (except Scientists) that didn't chart well. So, their problem is not good music.
Itzy is not a hitmaker apart from their debut song.
Nmixx will get a hit soon just like all the previous JYP GGs

idk about twice but MITM is pretty much the main reason why their comebacks dont do as well anymore & that had JYP involvement. Before that they could go t10 on Gaon due to hype alone even if the song wasn't a hit, now after MITM they don't even have that hype anymore & you can see that with LOCO's debut

Okay, but he was also involved in Cry For Me which reached #1 on Billboard World Digital Songs and charted in S Korea despite being a B side.
I mean, you take a producer as prolific as JYP is and you're bound to find some flops and some successes.

I mean they only had one comeback and not sure if jyp is to blame for loco flopping. Itzy themselves have no pull in sk.
