I have to say though that the Dahyun/Chaeyoung rap and the choreo are great. So I've come around to it's existence.

I do too. I mean, I love Twice, I think they're pretty good singers but the song suits BIBI so much from what I've heard.

Omg I love Zara’s voice so much, it has a very distinct and unique timber like bibi (although still very different) so anything she sings really stands out as her own.

It's so much fun! It was a perfect summer song. I can't even tell why it's so widely disliked. It's not like it has a jarring experimental part or a long rap section or something that would predictably split the opinion so much.

Honestly, I think it's less about the song and more about the PTSD Once's feel for that era. A lot of bad happened during then.

This was Twice's first song to not do that well. Fancy hit #1 even if only for a day or two and stayed in the top 5. Feel Special was Twice's first time having a real title track not hit #1, but Onces saw it more as a tribute to Mina and it still made it into the top 10. More & More is the era that people consider to be Twice's true moment of decline since the digital performance was their worst to date for a title track.

1. As the song was lagging on the charts, people found out the song was a 5-year old Zara Larsson reject song, which got some Onces heated, and they said that's the reason the song was not doing well. They thought it sounded dated.

2.People hated the MV because of the terrible CGI.

3. JYPE got into a controversy for the music video studio stealing someone's art piece design. They ended up ending their relationship with that production studio.

4. Jeongyeon revealed she was injured either during or right after More and More promo before going on hiatus.

5. And, that encore of Momo's live vocals went viral, which got her a lot of hate.

So, me personally, I think it is less to do with how terrible the song is and more to do with everything that happened during that time. I'm sure if More and More had charted better and all that drama had not happened, some Onces probably still would not have liked the song, but they would not hate it so passionately.
