Girl group fans? Yes. I will say girl group fans underestimate all boy group's popularity. Because most of the numbers they see come with "Female" filter.
They're only underestimated by certain fandoms.

Seventeen and Ateez are popular, so does a bunch of other bgs, albeit at different levels. But we start to get to the point of comparing between shades of blacks or grey. It’s debatable, hence some people will see it less and some will see it more. It’s not black and white.

They are the only 4th gen group to win on Immortal songs 3 times and be on there 5 times
constantly invited back, took 3rd place on Kingdom, which was their goal, they are HUGE internationally but not as much domestically. Don't discredit their achievements.
they are by no means at stray kids level or seventeen, we don't deny that, but they, in their own right, earned what they have.
