Moving on from your old bias groups

I'm 31 and wouldn't stan any group with members younger than me. My only hope at this point is stanning TVXQ, Super Junior, or Shinhwa.

B.A.P got me into kpop but they're disbanded now. A lot of the other boy groups I liked back then are inactive now. I moved on to Ateez, because they're NEW, and I'll probably move on from them when they disband or become inactive. I'll still like them but I'll find a new bias group. It shouldn't be taboo or make me a fake fan.

Why can't stan all of them

2NE1 disbanded 5 years ago. Imagine I would still stan them and not carry on with life

I’m finding that at 52, 53 this year that I’m not as passionate about groups as I once was. Maybe I’m outgrowing them, well the fan girling at least. The current gen are just babies to me and I don’t like the newer music. I’ll stick with SJ and SHINee I think.

Then what's the point of even being a kpop fan? No matter what your age is it's not going to take long at all for current groups to be younger than you.

Wait, did you stop stanning them because they got disbanded or because you don't enjoy their music anymore? You obviously won't be as passionate about them as you once were because there's no new content but they can still be your fave. I wonder what's your opinion on artists that died, they can't ever have a comeback anymore lol

I think stopping liking a group because they've disbanded and unstaning an active group are two different things though.

I used to stan 2NE1 and T-ARA but they've disbanded. I used to stan f(x) but then Sulli left and I lost interest (also their music stopped being good)
