  • Who’s the better rapper? 33

    1. Mark (17) 52%
    2. I.M (16) 48%

Two idol rappers that are often brought up as being very good but never really considered top tier. Both have very unique styles and flow. Who’s the better rapper to you?

  • Mark is one of my favorite members of NCT, but it's clearly I.M. The special stage NCT, SKZ, and Monsta X had made that obvious.

  • I.M. His rap delivery/cadences generally hits right to my ear. With the right direction and music partnership, I feel like he could have an off-season solo career and a decent catalog outside of his group.

I.M has this sensual..more yin leaning energy that is atypical for male-id0l rappers and that makes him stand out in an interesting way. I think he's more of the underdog of the two. If he puts in more work on his vocals and rapping for his solo tracks, I think he would surprise a lot of people.

His solo album was so interesting to me and you're right "sensual". It's unusual for idol rappers. I really love it.

His enunciation and even pronunciation in English could be better but that's Mark's advantage as a more native English speaker

I'm about energy. When I picked this up, I had to marinate on it. Since there aren't many guy rappers with like 60% yin energy, I had to figure out where I.M's energy falls with singers and rappers that came to mind.

Totally agree! I love his delivery and personal style soo much. The vibe of his solo stuff is so unique to him and that’s what makes me really love his rap.
