  • My Boy can't catch a break, this is the 2nd time :(

    hope he recovers quickly.

nearly every member of e'last has covid too

though i wonder if all ateez will be in self quarantine and go live on youtube being all weird again lol that was some funny stuff.

  • I just heard that Ateez were mobbed at the airport two days ago? No wonder they're suffering from its consequences ;(

Yeah they need better security. This keeps happening to them too

  • San just needs to karate chop some people lol

yup and get cancelled for it because fans are trash and assholes. Fans know about the pandemic yet will mob idols anyway. They don't give a fuck at all if they catch the virus and die from it. They just want their 5 secs of fame of being all up in an idols face. The virus isn't something that only affects the old and weak. Minhyuk of btob caught it once and nearly died from it despite the fact he was vaccinated boosted and is young and Olympic level fit has the perfect body etc and this shit almost got him he was hospitalized for 2weeks nearly needed a ventilator and lost over 12lbs in a week and had complications recovering until recently. And again this is a person who is the definition of health and fitness and has zero medical conditions.

But also fans are even worse assholes than that, jaejoong has been followed by saseangs home for over a decade even had people break into his house and take pictures of him sleeping among other things, and these things have happened to many idols but that one day they get mad and upset at the fact someone has assaulted or violated them and they defend themselves. Fans want to get upset and cancel them for it 🤡🤡🤡. Jaejoong slaps one and curses the others out that came to his house, fans try to cancel him despite the fact these saseangs have done so much wrong to him. A fan at the airport walk-up and kissed a member of SHINee it was jonghyun. The manager punches this bitch nearly knocking her out. Fans try to get him fired. Despite the fact he is protecting someone from sexual assault. Knowing damn well had jonghyun been a female nobody would have protested violence being used to protect him but i digress about gender in regards to that. Similar happens when fans have tried to mob suga and got knocked down by BTS security. Happened again recently with NCT 127 a fan tried to grab Taeyong and this big as Wonho bodyguard knocked the wind out of her ass. Yet fans want to cancel and criticize people defending themselves 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 yet they themselves would do the same or expect the same if they themselves were in any danger fucking hypocrites.

The protection thing I think is more to do with business issues and logistics than anything malicious. Most of the time idols goto airport etc with their few staff and have no problem also part of it is complacency the whole we did this a million times and no problem so if one thing goes bad we can handle it. But they have no plan for it alot goes bad. This then extends up the ladder in a company from that bit of complacency to logistics. Ok wow BTS got mobbed finally after a x amount of years now i need to hire security, but you are a business nothing exists in a vacuum the guys still have to work etc, while you have to take time to figure out ok i need new staff specifically for security so now i need a bunch of Wonho's and they have to be not only reliable but 1000% trustworthy as not only are they responsible for my idols they will have more intimate details the same or greater closeness than their manager because as a bodyguard they follow them wherever they go even inside their own homes . So you run the logistics of getting that together. Then boom some Tim goes by the bodyguards pay etc is justified as they stop any more incidents. Then time goes by again and nobody tries anything funny, you are a business you need to save some money maybe you don't need security 24/7 you back it off some it works then after awhile bam a member gets mobbed again then you have to bring it all back or a member goes off on a separate schedule on quick notice and you don't have the time to get that security detail to them and shit happens. That's all a huge task for a big and rich agency now try this all again with a small agency that doesn't have nearly enough resources for that. Most of the blame here is on fans and some on the companies

i don't think money should be an issue when it comes to the safety of idols. sure sometimes things may not happen, but I don't think they should let their guard down, period. Maybe traveling somewhere small you won't need them, but airports or huge events, they should always be protected, there's always a what if. I don't think they should use money as an excuse, if an idol gets seriously injured/hurt then they really lost money and they only have themselves to blame. Companies, can and should do better to protect their artists. Big or small.

You aren't wrong on the principle BUT this is the real world lol money is a major factor in everything a company does. Sometimes they literally are gambling here to make it or go bust. Some agencies are just about to shut down and scrapped by on almost going bankrupt but that one concert their new group debuted paid the bills last minute.

And bodyguards are people to they expect to get paid their talents and strength isn't cheap nor is the hazard pay of putting their lives on the line for others

that may be but if you can't afford the right things to protect your artists you shouldn't make a group. that's how i feel. i'm sure that's a debatable thing, but if you can't afford all the expenses and the protection of your artists, which i get may not happen at FIRST, (but if they start to gain popularity, they deserve that protection) then you shouldn't have a group. You should always plan and prepare for everything, starting a group itself is money and I don't know why some labels waste it and then go bankrupt or disband 'cause they can't afford it since their group isn't getting anywhere. They should plan it out and do it right, KQ is small, but ateez made a name for themselves, they aren't that small that they can't afford better protection for them, this keeps happening, so they need to make changes. But again this point is debatable i'm sure and not worth the headache getting into one. lol
