i agree. it's funny when non-fans say that, like do they need a sound change or is their sound just not for you? kpop stans need to learn to distinguish their personal tastes from objective quality

well.. I think a concept sound change can be a good thing but if it comes to groups who do well I agree it's often not needed

Honestly though, you don't need to always change concepts. It's the group's decisions.

Just because a song isn't you taste doesn't mean it is a bad song.

Instead of looking for groups that have music you like, kpop fans will want a specific group they are not a fan of to do something they like.

There were a lot of troll Once, Red Velvet, BlackPink, and Girls Gen fans on the old website, and they would go back and forth making up excuses why the other group sucked. It was funny seeing fans claiming to not like cute concepts when you look at some of the songs their own fave groups produced.

I absolutely hate the ones who try to force more mature concepts on groups with brighter fun-loving concepts

Cuz like you have all of these groups that do what you like, so why does this group need to do it too?

Oh wait, cuz the groups who do music you like are D-B tier while groups who do music you don’t like are A-tier, and you want someone with their clout doing what you like for bragging rights

The worst thing is when the groups do a concept change & it doesn’t take off much, the same people who forced them will either ignore it or bash them for changing
