Do you think it makes more sense

    If the majority of people are vaccinated and only experiencing mild symptoms if they do get infected, then a zero-positive policy is pointless and just adds unnecessary strain to people’s lives and the economy.


    Trying to control covid is like trying to control influenza. It’s pointless and we have to learn how live with the covid virus since it mutates too quickly, just like the flu, to actually have one vaccine that will prevent future infections.

    I'm waiting for it to die down, the cases are going down and vaccination rates are up. If everybody gets their booster (like I have) then we'll have more protection. We have been told to live with it and that is what we'll have to do.

    Zero infection rate is impossible as our environment will always have Virus and Bacteria.
    Prolonging the fear to the point of zero infection. Stress will kill before the Virus does.

    Fortunate to have vaccines. Long term It will be natural immunity that wipes out Covid. The Vaccines help during the Pandemic phase.

    I don't think it'll ever go down to zero even though my city had it pretty good for round 20 months or so...


    I think with the various mutations and strains of the virus it will continue to change but hopefully into something more manageable

    Zero isn't going to happen, but we should ensure that our hospitals don't get overwhelmed.

    In my country we're are 164.000 new cases per day at the moment.

    I myself was hospitalised for a complicated fracture 3 weeks ago and had to helplessly watch as somebody died in the bed right next to me because nurses and doctors alike were so busy they kept delaying a scheduled CT scan over and over again, saying the were emergencies. After three days in agony the lady started vomiting blood and succumbed to her injuries.

    People like to say triage is the solution. Which I'm sure it is if you lack empathy and aren't the one who has to witness it in action.

    It’s more important to have zero hospitalization and zero deaths. Cases is not important and IMO it cases undue panic.


    If you’re vaccinated and the vast majority of ppl around you are vaccinated properly and have no symptoms or minimal symptoms, why does it matter if you’re positive or not
